London

Here I am then, after 6 months of planning and organising and sorting stuff and still finding I do not have enough time, I am commencing my extended trip over 25 countries and 3 continents.
After a minor panic about my sleeping bag and roll matt being way way too big and having to go out and buy new ones one day before the trip starts, I made my way to London to check into the b&b in Pimlico. I thought I was staying at the King William IV pub but when we arrived, after another minor panic, where they could not find my booking on the system, it materialised that I was booked into the cosy b&b next door, phew. For a moment I thought I was going to have to camp outside the Hesperia until I meet the rest of the group in the morning!
Had a little walk around London and a nice Thai meal (aside from a bunch of very loud, drunk Australians that came in about 2 minutes after us!) and am now back in the room chilling and charging things before setting off to Victoria tomorrow morning to meet everyone at 7.30am and to make our way to Dover to catch the Ferry to France and straight on through to our first stop, Belgium.
